Honfleur & Delights of Normandy 4 Days From £239, By Coach Our route through the Picardy region of France brings us to Pont l’Eveque famous for its cheese and a delightful small town with a ‘very local’ atmosphere. We stay in Honfleur, a small medieval town where the old dock is surrounded by picturesque narrow houses and where you can watch local painters capturing the scene. Behind this façade are cobbled streets and interesting shops and the wooden church of St Catherine. We visit Caen, 10 minutes from the D-Day landings and the capital of lower Normandy. A vibrant buzzing city blended with a wealth of heritage and culture with narrow streets, a marina, and a myriad of parks and gardens. On our return journey, we visit the Monastery at Fecamp where Benedictine is made and take a lunch stop in Dieppe with its many restaurants, harbour and pedestrian shopping boulevard.

Set on the banks of the River Thames just four miles downstream from Tower Bridge it is particularly noted for its magnificent architecture, beautiful parkland and a lively town centre.
