Below is a list of the Countries that we currently offer short break holidays to:

Austria
Once the heart of the mighty Hapsburg Empire, Most of Austria is covered in mountains with lakes in between - the Alps. There are masses of winter sports, with many traditional pretty Alpine resorts. Vienna, with its imposing architecture and classical music, is an evocative capital and a must for The Third Man fans (there is a tour).

Belgium
Sometimes referred to as the 'crossroads of Europe" having been historically influenced by Celtic, Romantic and Germanic cultures. Its rich history is reflected in its culture, achitecture and food. We offer a range of holidays from Beer Festivals through shopping trips to the Beligan Grand Prix.

France
Just about everything: France has fantastic cities, coastline, mountains and rural areas. It attracts tourists all year round because, apart from its scenery, it is brilliant for food (even though branches of McDonalds are sprouting everywhere), wine, shopping and cultural pursuits. Paris is one of the world's great and manageable cities, but just try - despite recent government campaigns - getting a waiter to smile!

Germany
One of the European countries least visited by Britons, Germany has many attractions, such as the Bavarian Alps in the south, the Black Forest and picturesque castles along the Rhine valley. Berlin is again the capital - cool and increasingly trendy with spectacular modern buildings. Good beer if you like proper lager.

Ireland
Much of the countryside remains quietly idyllic, and the people absolutely charming, as the economy booms and Dublin is revitalised. The capital is great for a weekend, while Cork, Waterford and Galway and the intervening green, green landscapes are wonderful places to forget about any worries. Just watch out for impromptu parties breaking out in any bar you visit.

Italy
With thousands of years of history, art and culture, and a cuisine that is popular around the world, Italy oozes la dolce vita. Rome, Florence, Venice, Milan and numerous other cities are a joy as is much of the countryside - like Tuscany, Umbria and the Amalfi coast. Add fashion and football. What more do you want?

UK
Wales and Northern Ireland. London is one of the world's hippest cities, and has a wealth of history to match. Historically speaking, there's also plenty to do away from the cities: ancient stone rings, medieval village churches, vast country houses and Victorian seaside resorts. The countryside is good for walking, and the Lake District is a wonder. Edinburgh and Glasgow dominate Scotland but go further north to get away from it all. Northern Ireland, despite the Troubles, is a green and beautiful land, Wales has dramatic scenery and wonderful beaches on the west coast.
